CALL FOR PROPOSALS

The NCORE 2024 Call for Proposals submission period has concluded.


NCORE 2024 will be held May 28 – June 1, on the island of O‘ahu at the Hawai‘i Convention Center in Honolulu, Hawai‘i! Through collaborative efforts with Native Hawaiian community partners, NCORE called for proposals for presentations and posters that align with the Pledge to Our Keiki as a framework for the theme of our conference this year. This pledge—which is being integrated into the educational system of Hawai‘i—is a call into relationship, belonging, and family in the service of future generations that will deeply inform our time together on the island of O‘ahu.


Important Dates:

  • Proposal Submission Deadline: December 18, 2023
  • Decision Notification: January 29, 2024
  • Session Scheduling Notification: February 12, 2024
  • Session Confirmation Deadline: February 19, 2024
  • Alternates Notification: February 23, 2024
  • Alternates Session Confirmation Deadline: March 8, 2024

Key Requirements:

  • Presenters must be registered to attend NCORE 2024. You may register after your proposal is selected for presentation.
  • There is no limit to the number of proposals you can submit.
  • Presenters are required to comply with NCORE presentation and accessibility guidelines.
  • Presenters must bring their own computer and connection adapter (if needed). Session rooms will be equipped with a data projector (HDMI connection) and screen, sound support, internet connectivity, microphones and Easel pads with markers.

  • As the submitter, you will serve as the corresponding author and receive all emails about this submission at the address associated with your account.   • Be sure to obtain agreement from all co-authors to be listed as contributors to the abstract.

  • Click on the icon next to your name in the top right corner of this screen to find copies of all notifications associated with your account.

 


Call for Proposal Reviewers

•    NCORE staff will assign a reviewer up to 15 proposals to review and score.
•    The reviewer will be provided with proposal data, a scoring rubric, and review guidance.
•    Each NCORE proposal is reviewed and scored by at least two people.
